Balloon figure: ten apples
Scripture: Mal. 3:10
Lesson: This is not a Bible story, but a story that illustrates a Bible truth. Someone suggested that God gave Adam 10 apples: 3 to trade for food, 3 for shelter, 3 for clothing, and one to give back to God. (Hand out apples in groups of 3, holding back the best/biggest.) One left - to give back to God, but oh, it looks so good. Man ate it (pop apple with sharp pencil holding the deflated balloon up.) AND GAVE GOD BACK THE CORE.
Point: God deserves our best - FIRST.
